When Viktor and Ona wandered through Longwood Gardens one afternoon, they had no idea they were about to find a brand.
Surrounded by orchids, blooms, and species most people will never see in a lifetime, Viktor stopped in front of a flower he didn't recognize and asked his wife a question that wouldn't leave him alone for weeks afterward:
"What are the rarest flowers in the world — and what do they smell like?"

Viktor noticed something the candle industry had quietly forgotten. Most candles are named after fragrances dreamed up in marketing rooms — attached to nothing real. Yet for all of human history, the most beloved scents on earth had come from one place: flowers. Real flowers, with real stories.
So he started researching. The Queen of the Night, a desert cactus that blooms once a year, for one night only, then closes by sunrise. The Ghost Orchid, hidden so deep in Florida swamps it can take years between sightings. The Black Bat Flower, with petals like wings, surviving where almost nothing else can.
Flowers that bloom against impossible odds. And a thought followed:
Why give someone flowers that fade in two days, when you could give them a flower that doesn't?
The first launch sold out — and then forty percent of the candles arrived broken. Reviews dropped. Momentum stalled. Viktor and Ona could have walked away.
They didn't.
They re-engineered every piece of the packaging, relaunched, and rebuilt — because the point was never to be remembered as people who tried and failed. It was to show their children what it looks like to fail, keep going, and finish what you started.
