Trim wicks to a quarter inch before every burn, allow the wax pool to reach the edges on the first lighting, and avoid burning for more than four hours at a time. Keep the candle away from drafts to ensure an even, steady flame and complete burn.

Use a wick trimmer or sharp scissors to trim each wick to roughly a quarter inch (about six millimeters) before every burn. Trimmed wicks prevent mushrooming, soot, and uneven flames. Always discard wick clippings before relighting.

Stop burning when approximately half an inch of wax remains at the bottom. Burning past this point can damage the glass jar and create excess heat. The remaining wax can be gently melted out to repurpose the crystal vessel.

Yes — our diamond-cut crystal jars are designed to live on. Once your candle has finished, gently warm any remaining wax to remove it, wash the jar with warm soapy water, and reuse it as a vanity vessel, decorative piece, or storage jar.

Tunneling happens when the first burn isn't long enough to melt the wax to the jar's edges. To fix it, burn the candle for several hours until the full surface melts. To prevent it next time, always allow at least two to three hours for the first burn.
